Arab Adult Arthritis Awareness Group
Supporting public and patient education about rheumatic diseases across the Arab world.

About AAAA Group
The Arab Adult Arthritis Awareness Group (AAAA Group) began as an initiative to address the information needs of Arabic-speaking patients living with rheumatic diseases. The initiative was founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Dr. Lina Faisal El Kibbi and Dr. Hussein Halabi.
Rheumatology societies across the Arab world were invited to nominate representatives to join the group. The proposal was presented to the Arab League of Associations for Rheumatology (ArLAR) and approved in March 2019. Since March 2020, the initiative has developed into an active regional awareness group and achieved numerous milestones.
Recognized as one of ArLAR’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs), AAAA Group brings together 19 doctors representing 17 Arab countries to support public and patient education about rheumatic diseases. The group works to unify rheumatic-disease awareness in Arabic and improve access to reliable information across the Arab world.
