Aim

Establish an Arabic MSUS-accredited body under ArLAR as a platform for cooperation among Arab MSUS experts, and enhance MSUS teaching and accreditation for rheumatologists in the region to an international level.

Objectifs

  • Spread MSUS skills among rheumatologists in the region.
  • Facilitate the training of fellows and trainees within the Arab region.
  • Standardize MSUS practice in the Arab region according to international guidelines.
  • Establish an accredited ArLAR-MSUS certification programme for rheumatologists in the region.
  • Conduct regional MSUS-related research projects.

Plan

  • Provide regular accredited MSUS courses in the region, progressing from basic to intermediate and advanced levels.
  • Collaborate with international MSUS bodies such as EULAR and ACR to implement their guidelines and accreditation standards.
  • Participate with Arab Journal of Rheumatology editors to publish regular articles related to MSUS practice and research.
